You haven’t lived until you’ve stomped on cans
A million of ’em with sticky slimy pop spurting out
And a thousand wasps clouding the skies
It shows people we are committed
Or committable, I guess there’s no difference!
The idea is to plant a seed in your mind
For recycling is such a simple thing
And when you look at your garbage,
You’re looking at your lifestyle.
You’ll see new ways to change it.
We’re a new group, been here a year.
We came to teach, but also to learn
And after today, I think I can say
We all learned quite a lot.
